The Brewster Place Health Center (BHC) has been repeatedly recognized locally, regionally, and nationally as among the finest providers of skilled, long-term care health services that continues the practice of person-centered care. The Health Center has been the recipient of the PEAK Award, from the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services for excellence in providing Person-Centered Care since 2019 when the award began.

Eagle Ridge neighborhood
The Eagle Ridge neighborhood at the Brewster Place Health Center specializes in individualized care for seniors with skilled nursing services in a home-like environment to assure that quality of life continues to be in the best interest of the resident.
A Health Center care team consists of an in-house doctor, APRN/RN, CMA/CNA, Kaizen, physical, occupational and speech therapists, social worker, quality of life specialists, activities director, dining and housekeeping services as well as our campus Chaplain. Twice-daily assessments by an APRN or RN are communicated to the next shift to assure continuity of care.
The Brewster Health Center care team works together with a resident’s family to support continuing independence to the capability of the resident by offering choices about each of the 3 meals a day plus snacks, any personal assistance needed to meet the resident’s needs and encouragement to participate in socially stimulating activities and programs.
