Sometimes, just the right amount of assistance can make all the difference in the world. Brewster’s approach to Assisted Living is to customize that “right amount” of assistance to enable our residents to stay engaged with all of the benefits that come with community living.
The “right amount” of assistance is designed for each individual by team members that are focused on the needs of the whole person. A resident’s physical, cognitive, emotional and spiritual needs are carefully assessed and then addressed in personalized attention throughout daily activities.
The title of “Kaizen” is given to our daily caretakers in the Assisted Living neighborhoods. Kaizen is a Japanese word, meaning “continual improvement”. Our Kaizens are charged with caring for specific residents on a consistent basis, so that a relationship of mutual trust is fostered and enjoyed between the Kaizen and the resident.
Neighborhood: Monarch
Assisted Living is defined by Neighborhoods: Monarch and Frontier Neighborhoods. Monarch neighborhood offers a studio size and one-bedroom apartments from 270 to 545 square feet.
The Garden Level of Monarch is conveniently located near the Market Pavillion which includes a Salon and Spa, the Winchell Wellness Center, the Main Street Chapel, the Main Street dining venue, a branch of Kaw Valley Bank and a large gathering venue that hosts Happy Hour every Monday.

Neighborhood: Frontier
Our Frontier neighborhood caters to loved ones who are dealing with cognitive challenges. The design is the same as our Monarch neighborhood – warm and comfortable spaces with resident-centered attention created to enhance abilities that are still enjoyed by each resident. It is a secured neighborhood to assure safety and peace of mind.
