Monday, May 13 kicks off...
…a busy week for the Topeka community to experience our Brewster Place campus! On Monday, May 13, there will be a Tour of Homes, featuring the new Penthouse Suites at the top of the Redwood, the Cottonwood Villas, the Rehab center and the model apartment in The Evergreens. Tours will leave from the Brewster Place Events Center and run between 2pm and 4pm that afternoon, with a tour beginning whenever there are enough tourists for a tour vehicle! Be sure to enter your name for a drawing to win a complimentary BrewsterConnect membership AND a $500 gift card to the Furniture Mall of Kansas, who has so generously furnished our model apartment in The Evergreens!
On Wednesday, May 15, ...
…Brewster Place will feature an Information Fair at 2:00pm where you can meet all the departments that create such an optimal quality of life for each resident on our campus! Dining services will offer delicious samples for a real taste of Brewster Place! Wellness Services will lead some exercise classes and a demonstration class in the indoor pool. The Woodshop and Art Studios will be open and expert residents and staff can answer questions. There will also be a mini-tour of homes focusing on the Redwood Penthouse Suites and the Cottonwood Villas! You’ll begin the afternoon at 2pm in the Brewster Place Events Center by picking up your passport to the Info Fair and Amenities experiences. There will also be a drawing for another BrewsterConnect membership AND a $1000 gift card to the Furniture Mall of Kansas!
Friday, May 17 is the Ribbon Cutting event...
…that will be attended by local guests of honor as we celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the original opening of Brewster Place on May 17, 1964. If you were at our Sky-Breaking event, you’ll remember the confetti and streamers that we used to symbolically break the sky as we began the renovation of the flagship Redwood building. The renovation project included adding a 6th floor of penthouse suites and remodeling the 5th and the 1st floors with new apartments and common spaces. There will be an Open House so visitors can tour the recently finished Renovation project that began on December 12, 2022, exactly 60 years after the original groundbreaking for the Redwood building on December 12, 1962.
