Brewster Place is a retirement community providing all of its residents opportunities for an optimal quality of life.
Brewster Place is a faith-based, mission-driven not-for-profit organization with a distinguished history and unparalleled reputation for excellence. Founded by four Topeka Congregational churches, Brewster Place opened its doors in 1964.
At the dedication of Brewster Place on May 16, 1964, Rev. Ned Burr McKenny said, "Two qualities -- faith and imagination -- keep a person or organization young at heart. Those qualities are what it took to create Brewster Place."
For retirees who wish to remain in their own homes but enjoy the social benefits and some of the other resources available as being a part of the Brewster family, BrewsterConnect is a very affordable solution for them!
Programming at Brewster Place is focused on whole-person wellness by utilizing our Five to Thrive Dimensions of Wellness - physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual and social.
Brewster Place is guided by a volunteer board of directors who serve because they believe in our mission of providing all of our residents opportunities for an optimal quality of life.
